I had intended to start making cushions and asked the local upholsterer whether they had any left over material that they would no longer need. They did of course and, kindly, let me dig around in the scraps cupboard and take what I liked. 

It’s when they mentioned that they had some scraps of leather that I thought making purses would be a great way to make something a bit special. As they say, the rest is history. Watch each day as I learn new skills and try different styles. Let me know what you like! 

p.s:  The black lining that you will see in some of the purses is silk.
