Its been a busy week in the Lady Joon camp and had some useful time to create and finish off purses which have been waiting patiently on the work bench.
The good news is that Lady Joon purses are being sold on two websites. The first is USA based, Etsy, where people come together to sell hand-made items. There are some fantastic pieces and finds. Have a look at my favourites on the Lady Joon profile page: http://www.etsy.com/shop/LadyJoon
The great thing with Etsy is that you can request custom-made products via their ‘Alchemy’ page or through a particular persons page. I think this is great as it encourages unique one-off items.
The second site is the UK-based version of Etsy, called Folksy where a similar theme is carried through – all homemade items: http://www.folksy.com/shops/LadyJoon
Finally, I will selling at the Battersea market on Sunday 4th July with a friend of mine who sells fantastic vintage items. Check out her website here: http://www.my-retro.co.uk/ and also her blog here: http://carriesvintagefinds.blogspot.com/
More about Battersea Vintage Fair can be found here: http://www.vintagefashionfairs.com/. Please do come along and have a peek!
